Grand Opening Celebration at Our New Lehigh Division

On a rainy Saturday morning on July 10, our Grand Opening festivities began. Despite the weather, our members still stopped by to celebrate the official opening of our new Lehigh Division and administration building at 4703 Hamilton Blvd.

We celebrated with tasty food from Heaven on a Bun. The line was continual for delicious hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, potato salad, chips, pretzels and homemade iced tea and lemonade.

Members also had fun with our Spin and Win and face painting tables. People walked away with gift certificates, loan rate reductions, a lifetime of free checks and other PPL GOLD giveaways.

In Grand Opening style, we raffled off a few Grand Prizes throughout the day. Some of our Board Members assisted with randomly selecting our lucky winners. Cheryl Bartholomew, our President & CEO, announced the winners as they were selected.

Jim Pennington, the Chair of our Board of Directors, selected the first winner.

Dan Moffit, the Secretary of our Board of Directors, selected the second winner.

Linda McDonald, one of our Board of Directors, selected the third winner.

Marje Solomon, one of our Board of Directors, selected the fourth winner.

Members had the chance to enter to win a 46" big screen HD LCD TV, Apple iPad, Nintendo Wii and Apple iPod. Pat Roth, Branch Manager of our Lehigh Division, presented the prizes to our lucky winners.

Allen Sutter was the lucky winner of the 46" Big Screen, HD, LCD TV.

James Minneman was the lucky winner of the Nintendo Wii.

Debra Hunter was the lucky winner of the Apple iPod.

Members also had the chance to win the opportunity of opening a share certificate at the special Annual Percentage Yield of 4.703%. Winners were randomly selected throughout the day. If you entered to win, look out for instructions in the mail on how to open your special share certificate.

We also encouraged members to open new membership and checking accounts for a special dividend bonus of $47.03. Members brought along their family members and as a result, membership at PPL GOLD continues to grow. We want to welcome all of our newest members to the credit union! 

No Grand Opening would be complete without a ribbon cutting ceremony and some cake! Our President & CEO, Cheryl Barhtholomew was accompanied by Board Members and a Lower Macungie Township representative who officially welcomed us to the neighborhood.
