  1. Why did the credit union undergo a conversion?
The credit union's goal is to always provide constant improvements in the way we operate to ensure our member's experience with us is positive and exceeding their expectations. Over the past year and a half, we worked to improve our branch facilities and now we are working to improve our operations. Our previous data processing system  served us well over the last few decades and now our new system will allow us to continue serving our members well into the future. While our conversion brings some changes and initial adjustments, we are confident that you'll be pleased with the overall benefits.
  1. When did the conversion occur?

PPL GOLD successfully completed the conversion and was open to serve the membership on Tuesday, January 4, 2011.

  1. Will my member number, checks and debit card stay the same?

Yes.Your member number will remain the same. You can also continue using your current checks and debit cards after the conversion. In an effort to keep your best INTEREST at heart, we have chosen to minimize the amount of changes to your membership accounts.

  1. Will my direct deposits, payroll deductions and other automatic payments stay the same?

Yes. All direct deposits, payroll deductions and other automatic payments will not change. There will be no interruptions to your current established connections.

  1. Did Internet Banking change as a result of the new upgrade?

Our Internet Banking website received an upgrade as a result of the conversion. Many of the same products and services you are used to will still be available to you when you login. Below is a summary of the features that have slightly changed and an overview of our new online additions.

Transaction History

Our newly upgraded Internet Banking website does not contain the financial transaction history of your accounts prior to January 1, 2011.

Your financial transaction history of your online accounts will always be included in your member statements sent via U.S. mail. However, if you would like to view your transaction history prior to receiving your December 2010 financial statement, please contact us.

 Linked Accounts

Some members might have previously had the ability to access multiple member accounts in Internet Banking with one login. Depending upon the account ownership, you could have had the functionality to view account balances, make transfers of both deposits and withdrawals and to view history of linked accounts OR to make transfers of deposits to linked accounts.

As a result of our Internet Banking upgrade, all linked account access will now function to only make transfers of deposits to linked accounts. Regardless of account ownership, members will no longer be able to see balances and histories of their linked accounts. To view account balances of linked accounts, members will have to login to these accounts directly.

We are actively pursuing the capability to provide you with the services you are accustomed to and anticipate these functionalities to be available sometime in 2011.
