Our construction journey has come to an end. Our new branch and administration facility is finally ready to serve you! We will be opening our doors Monday, April 26 at 9:00 AM. We hope you have enjoyed the construction photos we posted. We encourage you to stop by and see the new facility for yourself!

We plan on opening our doors at 4703 Hamilton Blvd. in Allentown on Monday, April 26. As you can see by the photos, construction is almost complete and we are anxiously awaiting the move to our new branch and administration facility. If you drive by the building on Hamilton Blvd. what you'll see is far different from when we first began this process. We cannot wait to invite you inside and to share our new facility with you. We're very excited to start serving your financial needs here. In preparation of our move from the PPL Lehigh Service Center and the Gallery building, to our new branch and administration facility at 4703 Hamilton Blvd. in Allentown, we will be closing both credit union offices at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 23.

If you have any questions regarding our upcoming move to our new branch and administration facility, you can read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) available on our website, or you can contact us at 610-774-5345, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST.

Talk about progress--it's happening at 4703 Hamilton Blvd. at our new branch and administration facility! The glass has been installed on the front of the building. We finally have a real front door which will be ready to welcome you in very soon. The teller line is almost completely installed and the carpet and tile is next. Pretty soon the building will be finished and we can't wait to share it with you. Click here to check out more construction photos.

Most of the snow is gone at our new branch and administration facility located at 4703 Hamilton Blvd. The warm weather is putting everyone in a good mood and the progress on our new building has been phenomenal. All of the dry wall has been installed and in a few more days the spackling will be complete. Next week the painters will be hard at work painting the walls. We're so thankful for the warmer weather we've had over the last few days. The snow around the new building is starting to melt and the sunshine seems to be making the progress move even faster.The glass windows, insulation and dry wall are being installed this week. Pretty soon, the metal panels for the outside of the building will also be installed and the shape and color of our new building will really start to take form.

If you drive by 4703 Hamilton Blvd, you might be pleasantly surprised by what you see. Our new branch and administration building is starting to look more and more like the photo we debuted back in Fall 2009. Despite the eighteen inches of snow we received over the last week, our construction is continuing and our new facility is really starting to shape up. You can even start to see where our teller line, member service offices, conference room and other offices will be located within the building. The foundation for the addition to the new retail and administration building has been laid at 4703 Hamilton Boulevard. You can now get a feel for the footprint of the soon-to-be new home for PPL GOLD's administration and branch facility. Construction is progressing on our new retail and administrative branch located at 4703 Hamilton Boulevard. The existing building is being renovated and the foundation is being laid for the addition. PPL GOLD Credit Union Has Exciting News to Share: 
We are pleased to announce that we're now in the second phase of a three-year project to make our branches more convenient for you, our members.

We have begun the process of developing a new retail and administrative branch at 4703 Hamilton Boulevard in Allentown. It's close to Becker Subaru and the new Hamilton Boulevard by-pass. It's only two and a half miles from the PPL Lehigh Service Center and less than three miles from the Computer Aid, Inc. headquarters. This new location will also provide much easier access for retirees and family members.

This is the first time the credit union has purchased real estate in its 72 year history. Because we are not-for-profit and because our main goal is to serve our members-keeping your best interest at heart-the new facility will be both comfortable and cost-effective. Renovation and construction will begin in late 2009 with completion expected in the first half of 2010. When you visit the new facility, you will be greeted by the same friendly member service staff that currently assists you with your financial needs at our Lehigh Branch. Pat Roth will continue to serve as your Branch Manager.

The first phase of this facilities project was completed when we opened our new branch in the Plaza Building at 835 W. Hamilton Street in Allentown, PA. The overwhelming amount of positive feedback we've received from our members has been most rewarding.

The wood will be replaced with glass and will provide you with a warm and welcoming feeling every time you step inside! The broom is to keep things neat and tidy.
